I was proud to work on a new online presence for elite marathoner, 2012 Olympic hopeful, running coach, fitness model and Wonder Woman fan Rose Wetzel… partly because, as one who competes in the occasional 26.2-miler, I was hoping some of her speed would transfer to me…

Another example of our work with non-profit agencies, we built the web site for the Guilford Community Fund – a charitable organization that raises funds and distributes them to a wide range of worthy causes in Guilford, Connecticut.

The site was recently re-launched with a fresh new design that includes photos from around the historic town, and in which every one of the charities supported by the fund has its own destination page.

The site allows Guilford Community Fund to accept donations via credit/debit card for the first time, using PayPal.

Charlie’s creativity and expertise produced a website that not only expands awareness of our organization but also enhanced our fundraising efforts by streamlining our donation process. He efficiently created a website beyond our expectations.

- Christine Fappiano, President, Guilford Community Fund

Charlie did an awesome job building PastKast.com, particularly given a very tight time frame. We love the site and it’s received raved reviews from our users. Thank you!

Lane Violation was built for -- by far -- my most difficult client. Me.

Lane Violation was built for — by far — my most difficult client.

Me.

The site serves two main purposes. It’s a place to aggregate “clips” of the writing I do for About.com, RotoWire, and NBA.com and a good place to test and demo new themes, add-ons and other enhancements that I might later add to my clients’ sites.

The site serves advertising from two different sources: Google AdSense and the YardBarker Network.

The latest additions I’ve made on Lane Violation are the new graphic header — which is based on an iPhone photo I took at Madison Square Garden during the Big East Championships in 2008 — and integration of Facebook’s new “Like” function –see it in action on this post.

See a feature on Lane Violation that you think could help grow your business? Let me know.

Creating a site that integrates with numerous social media offerings was a must...

For author and coach Suzi Pomerantz, creating a site that integrates with her numerous social media offerings was a must — one of Suzi’s products is a Twitter tutorial.

We recently re-launched Suzi’s site, using a new template that gives her even more control over every aspect of her blog — and her brand.

Charlie’s a whiz with WordPress and coding and a joy to work with. He is responsive, skilled and generous and he combines his technical expertise and savvy with a keen ability to educate those of us who are less literate in the ways of the internet world. I have come to rely on him as a critical component of my business growth strategy. He is easy to work with because he takes time to understand my needs and saves me time since he can translate fluently between English and Technologese. I’m a fan and I highly recommend his work.

The online portfolio for DeAngelis Architectural Services, LLC — based in Mamaroneck, New York — features vibrant photo galleries for a wide range of their projects.

As architects we had specific ideas about how our website would illustrate our experience and convey our overall values. Working from our ideas Charlie created a series of templates with precise graphics that have a consistent appearance when viewed in different browsers. Our site was a successful product of the collaborative dialogue we maintained throughout its development. Charlie organized the site efficiently and coded it so that updates are made with a minimum of effort.
